Ryan started Healing Harbor with a simple belief: people deserve more than symptom relief. They deserve a place where they can heal from the past, build healthier ways of coping, and move toward a life with more peace, freedom, and purpose.
His work brings together mental health treatment, addiction expertise, and trauma-informed care. Rather than treating anxiety, trauma, relationships, and substance use as separate problems, Ryan works with the whole person and the way those pieces connect.
In sessions, Ryan aims to keep therapy warm and individualized rather than overly clinical. He draws on evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT-informed skills, and ACT, along with Accelerated Resolution Therapy and nature-based interventions. When a client wants it, he also integrates personal values or faith into the work.
